Below is a list of drum gear and equipment that I use. Much of this equipment is the gear I use for gigging, recording and or teaching.

 

       Drums:

• Pearl vision series five piece birch drum kit in black ice finish with chrome hardware. Sizes 10 x 8 tom, 12 x 9 tom, 14 x 14 floor tom, 16 x 16 floor tom, 22 x 18 bass drum.

• Pearl Reference Series Birch in silver sparkle. 22 x 18 bass, 12 x 9 tom, 16 x 16 floor tom

• Roland TD-9KX 5 piece Electronic drum kit.

 

• Snares: 14 x 6.5 Pearl reference series 10 ply (6 ply birch, 4 ply maple)

• 14 x 3.5 Pearl free floating brass snare

• 14 x 5 Pearl Chad Smith Signature snare drum (steel shell, nickle coated)

• 10 x 2 Snonor maple jungle side snare (with jingles)

• 14 x 5.5 steel timble

• Hand made bubinga 14 x 5 Tiki drum Co snare

 

• Hardwear: DW 9000 series double pedal.

• Stands, mostly DW 9000 series. An odd pearl 900 series and Gibralter tom stand and drum throne stand.

 

• Cymbals: Mienl 14 Byzance sand hats, Zildjian 14 A custom hi-hats, 17 K dark thin crash, 19 A custom crash, 18 A custom china, 20 A custom medium ride, 21 inch K crash ride (brilliant finish), 22 K custom high definition ride, 10 A custom splash, 10 K custom special dry splash, 20 Crash of doom, Dream 22 paper thin crash ride

 

• Heads: Remo. Usually CS dot, coated pinstripe, or coated ambassador on snare heads. Smooth white emporor on toms. Powerstroke 3 on bass drum. Clear ambassodors on bottom heads.

• Meinl 6.75 and 8 inch free ride bongos in natural finish

• Meinl 11 and 12 inch headliner series congas in natural finish

• Meinl 13 inch traditional djembe

• Also meinl percussion tray, meinl cabassa, pearl seel tamborine, LP percussion delux vibraslap, LP Sampango bells, LP shaker
